RTH Data Center Update

Over the weekend and much of Monday (12/21) we established a site-to-site VPN tunnel between USC network and our off-site facility. The VPN tunnel made accessible below off-site systems for devices connected on USC wired network, USC Secure Wireless network, or USC VPN.

Viterbi license servers – fully functional
Vsoelics-01.usc.edu
Vsoelics-02.vsoe.usc.edu
Vsoelics-03.vsoe.usc.edu

VSOE Windows AD domain controllers – these servers are needed to support user login on computers administered by Viterbi IT.

VLAB Windows AD domain controllers – these servers are needed to support user login on computers in Viterbi-IT supported computer classrooms.

VSOEFS file server – authorized users no longer need to make SonicWall NetExtender VPN connection to the off-site facility, they can access vsoefs.vsoe.usc.edu file server as long as they on computers connected to USC wired network, USC Secure Wireless network, or USC VPN.

We have also regained access to SIS data that feeds the myViterbi system.
