Dear Viterbi Faculty and Staff,
We are closer to reopen access to the myViterbi system and the Viterbi Payroll Control System. All servers that support these systems have been restored and are currently undergoing validation testing. We are hopeful to reopen access to both systems tomorrow, 12/18/20, barring any showstopper.
Please be mindful that our equipment at IT disaster recovery site has just ¼ the capacity of the impacted RTH data center. On that note, performance could be sluggish at times but overall functional when we reopen access to the systems.
As soon as we are allowed to perform damage assessment on the impacted data center, we will chart an appropriate course of action to speedily restore full operations.
