Over the past 24 hours, we split our time and effort between conducting damage assessment in the RTH data center and restoring more services to run on our off-site equipment.
Electrical power was returned to the data center yesterday so we could conduct damage assessment. We lost several network switches, storage appliances and servers. Fortunately most servers seem fine even though there are visible water stains on them. We will work to replace the failed equipment and eventually bring back services now run on our off-site equipment.
We restored three ITP instructional servers on off-site equipment today but we have more work to do before reopening them for access.
